Tramadol Dosage
Dosage — The suggested Tramadol schedules for managing pain are doses of 50 mg to 100 mg taken as needed every 4 to 6 hours. Tramadol doses more than 400 mg each day for adult patients are not suggested and will be reviewed. Elderly patients over 75 years are not suggested to ingest more than 300 mg each day of Tramadol doses.
Overdosage — Respiratory depression, lethargy, coma, seizure, cardiac arrest and death are signs of serious consequences of overdosing.
Get in touch with your emergency room or local poison control center as soon as possible if an overdose is suspected. Cold and clammy skin, low body temperature, slowed breathing, slowed heartbeat, drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, seizures, deep sleep, and loss of consciousness are all symptoms of overdosing.
Missed Dose — Take a missed dose just as soon as remembered. Should it be near the time for the next dose do not take it, simply pass by the missed dose and get back with your normal dosing routine. Never catch up by doubling the dose.
